PROJECT KEYHOLE: THE ROSTER
Major Jon Saxon
The Air Force officer served with distinction in the Second Korean War or Korea II until his jet was shot down during the fiercest battles of the war. While bailing out his jet exploded destroying his left arm. Saxon was eventually outfitted with a prosthetic robotic arm made by the Advanced Technology Group where he came to know the founder of the company Dr. Marcus Bannister.
With ATG paired up with the government in its time travel experiments at Project Keyhole Bannister tapped Saxon to join the project as the chief of security. At the project he was tasked with keeping it secure and accompanying the scientists on their research missions into the past. Saxon quickly fell in to a relationship with his most frequent time traveling partner Dr. Zoe Ross. When disasters strikes at the Project its up to Jon accompanied by Zoe to reassemble the history they knew.
Dr. Zoe Ross:
Zoe Ross serves as the chief scientific director of Project Keyhole under project head Dr. Marcus Bannister. Ross has been an integral member of the project having been recruited directly on her graduation day from M.I.T by Bannister and now disgraced project co-creator Sampson Douglas.
Her development of the Omega Failsafe is the only thing that saves the project when sabotage strikes. Romantically involved with Major Jon Saxon during the course of the graphic novel she discovers her connection to Project Keyhole runs deeper than she could ever imagine.
Senator Regan Blanchard
Having achieved international fame as a teenage figure skating Olympic gold medalist, Blanchard eventually parlayed that fame into a political career. Known for her attempts to kill big government scientific projects such as the Mars landing she is now traveling to Keyhole which is in her cross hairs to be shut down. She is accompanied by Dr. Sampson Douglas, the disgraced co creator of Project Keyhole, unaware he is manipulating her towards his own deadly ends.
With all of history in jeopardy Blanchard must put aside her contentious relationship with the Project Keyhole team, reign in her conflicting feelings for Zoe Ross and work side by side with them before all is lost.
Dr. Marcus Bannister
Hearing a tale from his grandfather as a young boy about a meteorite discovered in Antarctica which possessed the power to open a temporal rift into the past, scientific genius Bannister has spent his whole life focused on the goal of perfecting time travel even at the expense of his own marriage. Aided by his best friend Sampson Douglas the pair eventually succeed in accomplishing the greatest scientific breakthrough in history.
A falling out between Bannister and Douglas sets the stage for the disgraced Douglas to exact revenge on Project Keyhole that has left him facing a terminal condition. Knowing he is dying Douglas schemes to ensure that history dies along with him.
Lt. Julay “Jax” Jackson
Newly arrived at Project Keyhole as Saxon’s new aide de camp the young Air Force officer quickly learns the history of Project Keyhole. Barely having time to settle in she’s thrust into the history shattering crises that erupts at the project. Now she must draw on her military background to cope with unimaginable circumstances of a destroyed world fraught with corrupted history.
Freemont
Once a juvenile delinquent and budding car thief, Freemont was brought into Keyhole by Major Saxon a friend of Freemont’s late father. Under Saxon’s guidance Freemont’s life was turned around and he became a valuable member of Project Keyhole putting his outstanding mechanical aptitudes to work as a maintenance crew chief. Freemont’s usual approach to any given situation is humor but behind his comic façade hides a deep bravery that is tested in the aftermath of the destruction of history.
Dr. Claire Yang
The chief physician at Project Keyhole is far from the caring and compassionate person one would expect in a doctor. Ruled by the greed for the huge sums of money paid by Keyhole for the non disclosure agreement the project employs she is dismayed to find herself trapped in the project surrounded by a destroyed world. Bonding with new arrival to the project Chesley Armitage the two begin to unite in conspiracy that will serve their own selfish goals and potentially threaten the project.
Chesley Armitage
The son of a former governor of Texas, Armitage is employed by Senator Blanchard whom he dislikes but is using his position with her as a stepping stone in his political career. Trapped in a world torn asunder the cowardly and weasily Armitage is drawn to kindred soul, project physician Dr. Claire Yang. Together the pair began to form an unholy alliance that could have serious implications for Project Keyhole.
